Newport-on-Tay glazing, across the bridge
Newport-on-Tay faces Dundee across the river, at the Fife end of the Tay Road Bridge. Many of its houses were built by Dundee merchants who wanted a view back across the Tay, and they still have it.
Homes and buildings in Newport-on-Tay
Victorian villas on the braes, terraces near the shore and newer homes further back. Large windows facing the river are common, as are balconies and garden terraces where glass balustrades work well.
