Bi-fold doors
Bi-folding doors fold back in sections, so most of the opening can be cleared on a warm day and closed up again against Scottish weather. We supply and fit them in uPVC and aluminium.
- Materials: uPVC, aluminium
- Glass: Toughened safety glass
- Made: To measure

Planning a bi-fold
- Number of panels. More panels means narrower sections and a wider opening. We'll suggest a layout for your opening.
- Which way they fold. Inward or outward, and to the left, right or split both ways.
- Everyday door. A single lead panel can be used as a normal door without folding the rest.
uPVC or aluminium bi-folds?
uPVC bi-folds are the more affordable option. Aluminium gives slimmer frames and suits larger openings. See aluminium windows and doors.

How wide can bi-fold doors be?
It depends on the number of panels and the material. Tell us the size of your opening and we'll suggest a layout.
Do bi-folds let draughts in?
Modern bi-folds seal well when closed. Correct fitting on a level, square opening is what makes the difference.
