24-hour emergency glazing

Glass breaks at bad times: a break-in overnight, a storm, a door slammed too hard. We run a 24-hour emergency glazing service around Dundee and Angus. Call and tell us what's happened, and we'll tell you what we can do and when.

  • Phone: Answered 24 hours
  • Coverage: Dundee and Angus
  • For: Homes, shops, offices

When to call the emergency line

  • A window or door is broken and the property can't be secured.
  • A shop or office front has been damaged.
  • Broken glass is a danger to people using the building.

If it's a cracked pane that's still in one piece and the property is secure, it can usually wait for a normal-hours appointment, which we'll arrange with you.

What to tell us when you call

  1. Where you are. Full address and postcode.
  2. What's broken. Window or door, roughly how big, which floor.
  3. Whether it's secure. Can someone get in? Is anyone at risk from loose glass?
  4. Photos, if you can. We may ask you to send one so we bring the right materials.

Commercial premises

We reglaze shopfronts, office doors and commercial glazing, including high-level toughened panels. Businesses can call us first when something breaks, and we'll work around trading hours where we can.

Is the phone really answered at night?

Yes. Call 01382 814273 at any hour. The call is answered by our team, not a call centre.

Which areas does the emergency service cover?

We cover Dundee and Angus for emergency call-outs. If you're further out, call anyway and we'll tell you what we can do.

Will you replace the glass on the same visit?

If we have the right glass, often yes. Double glazed units and large or special panes have to be made, so we'll make the opening safe first and come back to fit the new glass.
